 Dye runs all over the place July 9, 2010

This product will run dye all over the place especially with hot sun + sweat combo or washing it in warm water with lighter colored fabrics BEWARE!!!
I tried washing out the dye a few times and it just keeps running!
It is a great price but the product needs to be a better quality, imo.

If you are used to some top notched products in this group like Levi's bandanas, then this will look like a piece of garbage to you. The cotton is a very poor quality, not soft at all. I ordered the color charcol but in return what I got was gray color. Not recommended at all.

After reading that they fade, I am not going to wash mine. the color is great but I don't know how long that will last. They are pretty large too. I am just using mine for a hair decoration so I might cut it to make it smaller. Over all its ok, not the best.

I realize the description says "approximately 22 x 22" but the 2 I ordered are both 19 x 21 1/2 which means you can't fold them diagonally to tie around your head. It may seem like a minor discrepancy, but in my opinion these unmatched dimensions just make it look silly. On top of that the shipping fees were ridiculous, especially for something that weighs almost nothing. I was very disappointed.

I was looking for a few bandanas to use as sweat bands when I go to the gym. So, when I received the black, pink, and white bandanas in the mail, I didn't think to wash them before I used them (they were just going to get sweaty anyway).
In any event, I choose to use the black one first. At the end of my workout, I had black dye on my forehead, neck, and (of course) down the back of my white shirt. After a good scrubbing, the dye did come off of my skin, and it came off of my shirt in the wash, but, even for the minimal price I paid, I'm not quite sure it was/is worth the trouble. I've washed them all since then, but who knows if all of the excess dye is gone.
