This song has plenty of strains of sixties folk music, from the drumming, the guitars, right down to the singing. It has a lo-fi, homemade sound that is completely in harmony with the bands overall feel. Nothing really breaks the illusion.
Perhaps not my favorite genre but this is a very fine effort by a very talented band.
