Not the information contained in earlier editions June 28, 2010 William L. Trout (Medical Lake, WA United States) The 2009 Almanac does not contain college and university information that was in earlier editions. This is the reason I bought it.
Bought as a gift for my daughter May 12, 2010 M. Foster My daughter was born in 2009, so this was bought for her. Something for her to read when she gets old enough and interested enough as to what was going on in the world the year she was born.
almanac April 19, 2010 Sir Squirrel (Alabama U.S.A.) Arrived in like new condition. I am very pleased wih it. Thanks for the speedy delivery.
Fascinating February 13, 2010 JonShops (Oklahoma) I bought this as a gift for my mother...and almost had to get another for me. Wish I could remember the things I read. Still, what I learn beats watching TV! I'm sure a lot of editorial concern goes into it, but for entertainment it is something of a random walk through facts about the world. Also got the New York Times version, and the two complement one another.
World Almanac 2009 February 10, 2010 Sara Kitch Had ceased publication,so was glad to find a new copy online for our school library collection
